About Roger Victory

A Lifelong Commitment to Michigan Agriculture

Deep Agricultural Expertise

Roger Victory’s life and work have been rooted in agriculture and the communities it supports.

He is the owner and chief-operator of Victory Farms, a fourth generation family farm. Originally a 100-acre cattle operation, Roger transitioned Victory Farms to specialty crop production in the mid-1980’s. Victory Farms now boasts 1,100 acres in West Michigan, and distributes produce across North America.

Roger has firsthand experience with the realities of Michigan agriculture—managing land, navigating weather and markets, and making decisions that affect both family livelihoods and local economies.

He also earned a bachelor’s degree in logistics from Davenport University, building practical expertise in supply chains, operations, and systems that keep agriculture and businesses moving across the state.

Through his involvement with MSU Extension and leadership development programs, Roger has remained closely connected to agriculture, education, and community leadership in Michigan.

Later in his career, Roger brought that real-world experience into public service. He served as a Michigan State Senator, where he worked on issues affecting farmers, working families, small businesses, and local communities.

Roger Victory's experience strengthened his understanding of governance, accountability, and long-term decision-making—skills he now hopes to bring to the Michigan State University Board of Trustees.
